In 2005 Martin, Kris and Toby met in Lübeck, Northern Germany. Martin, who founded the band-project Polyplastics in Karlsruhe in 2004 was dissatisfied without being in a band, just as Kris and Toby were, who had already been playing together for a long time in a band . They immediately took to each other and listened to each others old demo-tapes. The birth of the Polyplastics became inevitable. A few months later, a four-track demo-CD followed and meant the first step to paving the way towards their unique style. Furthermore, the Polyplastics were able to show their live-qualities, playing their first gigs.
In 2007, Konrad joined the band playing the bass and in october, the EP "Infinity of Luxury" was recorded. The band turned out five catchy songs while still proceeding in a way off the beaten track style of mainstream. The musical influences of the four band-members are different and varying, so there is no risk for the Polyplastics music getting repetitive or boring.
